Aliv assures new customers making the transfer

Bahamas, May 5th 2017: Aliv is telling its customers not to be dismayed by the glitches experienced. Customers making the transfer from their BTC number to Aliv via the Mobile number portability (MNP) system experienced a disruption in service while attempting to port numbers. The new mobile services carrier, entering the Bahamas market assured that it is working with the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority, URCA and Bahamas Telecommunications Company, BTC,  to alleviate the issue totally.

Aliv says if customers do experience any issues, they are available to “walk through the process with its clients”. The company adds that their in-store clerks were also present to assist in case of any issues. Aliv has stated that while it usually takes 20 minutes to port a number while in store.

The company hopes to smoothen out this in the coming days, making the transfer an easier process for its customers.
