Bahamas, May 16th 2017 – Grand Bahama – According to police reports, officers attached to the Drug Enforcement Unit along with other law enforcement officials and security personnel discovered 490.5lbs of cocaine in Grand Bahama. The discovery was made on Monday 15th 2017 and it is estimated to worth a street value of $5,124,000.
Acting on information received, the officers found the dangerous drugs hidden in 7 black duffle bags inside a 20ft container. Arrests, however, are yet to be made. Police investigations are continuing.
