Reading from this speech, Minnis told the islanders that plans were made to boost agriculture on the island, with focus on fruit crops and processing it into jams and juices. The FNM’s plan is said to include a Native Food Market in Nassau that will be an outlet for produce and fish. He adds that a modern new airport is on the cards for Long Island under an FNM government.
