Bahamas, April 4, 2017 – Nassau – We March has changed its tone on endorsing any one political party and during media interviews on Sunday, Renard Henfield lead organizer said We March is an independent voice and will not endorse any political party.   Henfield had, at another march, expressed that if the Perry Christie Administration did not respond to the concerns of the group, that We March would consider endorsing, and the reason given then was that if endorsing another party meant out with the PLP, We March would do it.

Estimates of the turn-out on Sunday are put between 100 and 200 protestors.  The group, said to be made up of PLPs, FNMs, DNAs, UDPs and others demonstrated from West Bay Street to the Office of the Prime Minister.   Henfield said the focus in the third march was about the lack of opportunities for Bahamians, their dissatisfaction with the explanation of VAT revenue, spending on the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival and the Bahamas Landfill problem.
