Turks and Caicos, April 13, 2017 – Providenciales –  Thousands of islanders have commented now on the racist rant by an American couple reported upon by Magnetic Media, including the resort at which they staying.   General Manager of the Seven Stars resort, Grant Nobel explained that the couple was never abusive to their staff and that Seven Stars would not permit them to treat their resort team in any derogatory manner.

Nobel added that the resort also found the tirade disgusting and one of the worst displays of racism ever heard.  While Seven Stars was made aware that the cell phone was believed stolen at the Mango Reef restaurant, the pair did not share any information with the resort on their telephone conversation and behavior at the restaurant with the resort.

Staff at Mango Reef recorded the telephone exchange, which is posted at our Magnetic Media Facebook page.  Concern is largely about the unfiltered racism of the couple, but there are others who also say the workers at Mango Reef crossed the line too.

There were yet others who pointed to the fact that the tourist couple broke country laws, namely issuing of a death threat and discrimination.  Mr. Nobel confirmed that by the time anyone got wind of the racial slurs hurled at the Mango Reef workers, the guests were gone; they left Provo Tuesday morning.   Grant Nobel added, “These guests left yesterday morning and have been blacklisted from ever returning to the resort.”
