Bahamas, April 25, 2017 – Abaco – Hubert Ingraham is back and rearing to go!   The former FNM leader seen in North Abaco lending support to candidate Darren Henfield told supporters gathered to expect to hear from him in the upcoming rallies carded for early May, where he will list a number of reasons why you shouldn’t vote for the PLP.

Meanwhile, he called out the current PLP MP for the area, Renardo Curry his absenteeism in Parliament.   Curry has missed a total of 102 out of 220 days in the house and is said to have topped as the MP with the highest number of absent days from parliament. Ingraham says in his 40 years of service as Member of Parliament, he has only missed two days.

Mr. Ingraham’s comments also come one week after current FNM Leader, Dr.Hubert Minnis was questioned by the media for missing days in Parliament, where he responded that he was occupied with campaigning to get Prime Minister Perry Christie’s job.

The House of Assembly report exposed that elected members have missed hundreds of meetings.  Curry called it an intentional maneuver to embarrass him.  Ingraham told North Abaco that the time had come to return the seat to the FNM, as he counted Henfield a quality candidate who would take care of the constituency.
