Turks and Caicos, April 13, 2017 – Providenciales – Anglican Bishop Reverend Laish Boyd says the True Easter message is representative of the deep meaning of love God the Father holds for mankind. In delivering his Easter message, the bishop says there are three points to be learnt from the Resurrection of Christ. He says “God gave His only Son for us even though we did not ASK FOR IT or DESERVE IT or REALIZE that we needed it”.
Bishop Boys remarked that “At the time of Jesus’ life the human race could never imagine what it is that He came to bring. Now we know, and we thank the Heavenly Father for this great Feast of the Resurrection which we celebrate.”
He says this is expressed in God’s loving intention through giving us His son whose purpose was to Live, to Preach, to Teach, to die and to Rise again and ascend to His father. Bishop Boyd says this is symbolic of the True Nature of Love and human life itself. In reference to the life of Jesus, he says his dying conquered sin and death and its power over us, allowing us to have forgiveness, newness of life and a constant chance to start over whenever we stumble.
