Turks and Caicos, April 4, 2017 – Providenciales – Officers have arrested and charged a 38 year old male of Dock Yard Providenciales for two counts of Handling Stolen Goods in connection with a report of a Burglary made on Thursday 23rd March 2017.
On that date, complainant reported that she secured her home at 12:35am and went out, upon returning at 11:00am later that morning she noticed her front door opened and her home ransacked and a number of items stolen. An investigation was launched. As a result of information, on Sunday 26th March 2017 Detectives executed a search warrant at the home of the 38 year old male where a number of items were recovered.
He was arrested, charged and taken to the court where he plead not guilty to the charges. He is remanded into custody until Monday 12th April 2017 for trial.
