Bahamas, March 14, 2017 – Nassau – The Bahamas consortium which is engaged in talks with the Government on taking over management of the dump will have to be bolstered by true experience in managing the facility. Prime Minister Perry Christie echoed the expression of Minster for Environment, Kenred Dorsett when he told media on Friday that help from the United States is the way to go in the matter.
It has been a week now since the fire at the dump which made living unsafe for nearby Jubilee Gardens residents. The home owners were forced to evacuate due to the looming danger of the massive fire.
