Bahamas, March 3, 2017 – Nassau – The shocking Scott street shooting of last week Thursday night saw some closure through the courts this week; but it was a child who was carted off to Fox Hill Prison, for the alleged shooting which left a one year old baby girl fighting for her life at hospital.

Reports say after kissing his mother good bye, the teenager was handed over to the Prison.  Twenty-two year old Standford Pinder of Flint Street and that 16 year old boy are the males police arrested for the Bain Town rampage where one man was killed.

Leonard Sweeting, 32 years old was murdered when bullets were riddled off at a group of people standing outside a residence on Scott Street around 7:30pm on February 23rd.  The duo, now in the hands of the Corrections Department, was also charged with the attempted murders of Robert Munroe and Philip Rolle and the one year old girl.

There may be a case within this case, as attorneys for the boy charged in the homicide – Ashton McQuay and Racquel Huyler – allege that their client was abused by Police while in their custody.  Justice Joyanne Ferguson-Pratt ordered immediate medical care for both suspects who were said to be visibly bruised.
