The Pointe ready for phase two, 200 Bahamian jobs touted

Bahamas, March 14, 2017 – Nassau – November 2018 is the projected full opening date for The Pointe which on Saturday saw ground broken for its next phase at the site on West Bay Street.   The resort, a $250 million investment by China Construction America and its subsidiary company New World One Bay Street, will not only offer a 150 room resort, 900 space parking garage, jobs for 500 people upon completion and a savvy new entertainment-business hot spot for down town New Providence, but says the company and Minister of Works, Deputy Prime Minister, Philip Davis it will revitalize Lighthouse Beach and down town Nassau.  Phase one is completed and the soil was turned on Saturday for phase two of the project to begin.

It has been five months since The Pointe started and its President Daniel Liu, said they are resolute on providing a world class residences and resort retreat and will bring their flavor to Bay Street, adding to the energy of the strip.   Once completed, The Pointe will feature 50,000 square feet of retail and office space, upscale shopping, restaurants, spa, performing arts center, movie theatre, night club and roof top bar.   There will be 200 construction jobs for Bahamians during this phase two of development.
