Turks and Caicos, March 27, 2017 – Providenciales – At least two people were arrested by the Integrity Commission (IC) today from the Immigration Department. Early reports are at least two female workers are allegedly behind illegal happenings at the Department and that there are more arrests to come.
The crackdown which saw the women taken off the job, stems from just one of the many investigations led by the IC of Immigration. There is mention of fake work permits in this probe, however the IC has not yet replied to Magnetic Media’s questions on the investigation.
