Turks and Caicos, March 6, 2017 – Grand Turk – The Ministry of Tourism, Environment, Culture and Heritage with responsibilities for the Department of Fisheries, wishes to inform all persons, particularly fishermen on the island of Grand Turk that the Fish Market located on West Road has been constructed for use by all fishermen and serve as a sanitary facility whereby daily catch can be cleansed and properly prepared for distribution.
It is to this end, that the Ministry is encouraging individuals to utilize the facilities on a daily basis. Similarly, the Ministry is also encouraging individuals to ensure that facilities are kept clean at all times. The Fish Market is being provided for your usage, and to ensure its’ sustainability we request that all patrons utilizing the facility should restore it to its original state after each use.
