Turks and Caicos, March 7, 2017 – Providenciales – TripAdvisor fields compliments about destinations worldwide, but it also fields complaints, and the woman who was yesterday morning attacked by some 6ft tall thug has gone to a chat room to say that she had a “horrible experience” in Providenciales, TCI after nearly being mugged as she jogged around 5:30am in a well lit area of Grace Bay.
More startling is that she blasts the hospital for its slow, cold and incomplete treatment of her after the attempted robbery. The woman complains of waiting too long, being spoken to without empathy and that her medical examiner did not even clean her up properly before sending her on her way. ‘Incensed’ would be one way to describe the writer of the account which has garnered nearly 100 reactions from readers of the section.
Some on the blog are chiming in about crime, others about the hospital. A tourism official is mentioned in the article as being sympathetic, but not named.
