Environmental Health says clean up can begin

Bahamas, March 14, 2017 – Nassau – Tests are turning up promising results so far said Environmental Health teams which on Saturday went into the Jubilee Gardens area.   No soot from the smoke and residents are encouraged to come home and air out their houses and begin to clean up.   The Department said there is only smoke damage and some roofs in the eastern side of the Community will need to be reviewed.   Jubilee Gardens residents were encouraged to wear the proper gear as they get into cleaning.
