Bahamas, March 3, 2017 – Nassau – Former Deputy Prime Minister Brent Symonette stunned with news this week that he will reenter the political fray and will try for the St Anne’s Constituency. Despite his standing as former party deputy leader and country Deputy Prime Minister, Symonette will walk the party line to re-earn a place on the ballot as an FNM standard bearer.
Symonette is highly critical, not surprisingly, of Perry Christie’s Administration and called the Prime Minister’s most recent ‘flipping off’ scandal an indication that the PLP Leader has ‘lost it.’ Brent Symonette said, ‘as a leader, he should be above that.’
