Boys & Girls Day for Oseta Jolly

Turks and Caicos, March 8, 2017 – Providenciales – It is Education Week and today Oseta Jolly Primary school separated the boys and girls for a special day to be nurtured as budding men and women of the TCI.  The girls were at the Tropicana Show club where among their speakers was Deputy Governor, Anya Williams.

The Boys were at the Gus Lightbourne Gym where they heard from   Governors Appointed Member to the House of Assembly, Hon. Temard Butterfield; Flow Marketing Executive, Darron Hilaire; Author and Pastor, Pedro Williams; Financial Executive, Kenrick Walters; BWIC Sixth former, Darius Coakley; Keron Brown Ellington, primary school teacher at IPPS and Kemuel Gardiner, Pastor and Marlin Award winning gospel recording artist.

The DG also paid the boys a visit.  We got reaction from an Oseta student, Peter Campbell.   “We learned things, we learned lots of new things, we had fun and we even sang songs.”  

Education Week events continue this morning with the FortisTCI Science Fair.
