Bahamas, March 6, 2017 – Nassau – The Bahamas Human Society is prepared to help the animals affected by the landfill fire in Jubilee Gardens and nearby communities.
It says:
- We will like to remind the public that we are open 24Hours for emergencies
- If you would like to donate items to the shelter you can leave them on the front porch.
- Our Inspector Rodger Armaly has already been in Jubilee Gardens assisting Families with evacuations.
- Anybody wishing to volunteer at the shelter tomorrow can contact The Bahamas Humane Society @323-5138 @8am.
- The shelter will open tomorrow at 7am.
- There will be no adoption services tomorrow as the shelter will be focused on rescues and emergency care for animals affected from the Jubilee fire
NEMA/the Bahamas Humane Society will continue to provide such services and updates to the public.
