Bahamas Humane Society to receive animals from fire impacted areas

Bahamas, March 6, 2017 – Nassau – The Bahamas Human Society is prepared to help the animals affected by the landfill fire in Jubilee Gardens and nearby communities.

It says:

  • We will like to remind the public that we are open 24Hours for emergencies
  • If you would like to donate items to the shelter you can leave them on the front porch.
  • Our Inspector Rodger Armaly has already been in Jubilee Gardens assisting Families with evacuations.
  • Anybody wishing to volunteer at the shelter tomorrow can contact The Bahamas Humane Society @323-5138 @8am.
  • The shelter will open tomorrow at 7am.
  • There will be no adoption services tomorrow as the shelter will be focused on rescues and emergency care for animals affected from the Jubilee fire

NEMA/the Bahamas Humane Society will continue to provide such services and updates to the public.
