291 from Jubilee housed by Social Services

Bahamas, March 14, 2017 – Nassau – Social Services Department visited Jubilee Gardens and confirmed that 291 residents had to be temporarily housed by Government during the evacuation.  These individuals said Deputy Director of Social Services, Lillian Quant Forbes were with respiratory issues adding that support to the evacuees will end when their Department gets the all clear for Environmental Health.  Social Services joined Environmental Health in assessments this weekend and it was said reports on their findings will be turned into the policy makers within the week.
