Providenciales, TCI, February 24, 2017 – As investigations into the murder of Kevino Smith continue, today (Friday 24th February 2017), Detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have formally Charged and Cautioned a 31 year-old female of Grand Turk with Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice.
Two other females who were previously arrested has been released from all bail obligations. A total of three (3) men and one (1) female have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Kevino Smith who was reported missing by his family on Friday 6th March 2015. After continuous and extensive searches, his body was found on Thursday 16th April in the Breezy Brae area of Grand Turk by members of the Community.
The 31 year old female will appear in the Grand Turk Magistrate’s Court on Thursday 2nd March 2017. A sufficiency hearing date has already been set for the three men.
