Providenciales, TCI, February 21, 2017 – The Turks and Caicos Tourist Board today announced that training for persons interested in public service transportation has resumed. Training will be conducted throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands. All interested persons residing in Providenciales and Grand Turk are encouraged to visit the Tourist Board’s office, request a TIDES Public Service Driver’s Application, complete and submit the application to the office receptionist.
The Training Manager will vet all submitted applications. Once vetting is completed, registered persons will receive a courtesy call from the Training Manager confirming your date, time and location for training.
Interested persons residing in North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos or Salt Cay are encouraged to register through their respective District Commissioner’s Office or contact the Tourist Board Office in Providenciales at (649) 946-4970 or the Tourist Board Office in Grand Turk at (649) 946-2321.
The Tourist Board will also be conducting customer service training with the Immigration Department during the month of February.
