Allied Restaurant of the Year – Mango Reef

Overall Restaurant of the Year was a three way tie –

Grace’s Cottage, Point Grace ; Hemingway’s Restaurant at the Sands; Parallel 23 at the Palms Resort

Hotel of the Year  – Point Grace;

Heart of Hospitality –  Dennis Been of the Windsong Resort;

Supervisor of the Year  – Duval Phedre of the Sands

Employee of the Year–   Shanice Williams of the Gansevoort

Chef of the Year – Chef Edwin Gallardo of the Seven Stars

Housekeeper of the Year  – Carlton Salmon of Beaches Resort

Fan Favorite from the Facebook polls  – Roxanne Wade of Beaches Resort

Hospitality Hero, Selected from Government staff –  Kirkford Gardiner of the Ministry of Border Control and Employment

Hotellier of the Year category (two way tie) – Tendra Musgrove of the Villa Del Mar and Urmar Karner of the Somerset both won

Manager of the Year – Jessica Rigby of the Gansevoort

TCIs Shining Star – Lauren Callighen of the Palms

Taxi Driver of the Year –  Edward Barranco

Allied Member of the Year – Wine Cellar

Bartender of the Year – Carlton ‘the Doc’ Waite at the Palms

Ambassador Award – Sherman Lopez of the Beach House

Entertainer of the Year – Crystal Tess Charles

Best quote of the night came from keynote speaker, Darron Turnquest – who is The Bahamas Youth Director, he said… “aspire to be a leader, not a manager.”
