Providenciales, TCI, February 16, 2017 – The time change instituted by the Rufus Ewing Administration in 2015 could be reversed. Cabinet this week approved for a national consultation to take place and the Office of the Premier and District Administration has been charged with the task.
It is being called a “public and stakeholder consultation” and it will span one month and entertain proposals on a reversal of the decision by Cabinet in August 2014 to cease seasonal time changes in the TCI.
There was no date given on when the consultation process will begin, but it is explained from those Cabinet minutes today that the OP and District Administration will report back to Cabinet on its findings.
