Providenciales, TCI, February 20, 2017 – Until noon today, residents and fans can vote for their favorite of 147 Star Awards nominees in the category which leaves it purely to popularity in the public.
Among the leaders in the fan favorite race up to news time were: Veronica Clare of Grace Bay Club; Tanya Swann, Danielle Higgs, Carlton Salmon, Yoginder Singh, and Roxanne Wade of Beaches Resort; Crystal Tess Charles, Entertainer; Mary Lynn Stubbs and Edwin Gallardo of Seven Stars; Teresa Rigby of Parrot Cay; Karen King and Beverly Williams of Point Grace; Kenrico Hall of the Gansevoort and Priscila Rodriquez and Locora Morely of the Sands at Grace Bay.
The countdown is on now to the 9th Star Awards which is already a sold out event and which names the best of the best in the TCI hospitality sector. The Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association event is widely supported and highly anticipated as the Grammy awards of the industry for these islands. A record breaking 167 hotel sector workers are nominated.
This year, Deandrea Hamilton teams up again with the hilarious Stephen Wilson for what promises to be another epic night… it is elegant wear, with red carpet entry and the theme is a touch of red.
The TCHTA Star Awards are being held this Thursday at the Tropicana Show and Supper Club.
