Premier National Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving services begin in Capital

Grand Turk, TCI, February 13, 2017 – The country’s Premier wants the world and the islanders to know and remember that the Turks and Caicos is a Christian nation, reliant upon God for grace and mercy and help.

In the first of a series of Thanksgiving services, held on Sunday at the Salem Baptist Church in Grand Turk, Premier Hon Sharlene Robinson led country leaders including the Deputy Governor Anya Williams and Members of the House of Assembly at a church service.



The Premier, in announcing the gatherings said: “Our country has been faced with an increased number of social ills plaguing our community from crime, drugs and self-harm amongst our general population. Undoubtedly, our country calls for desperate Prayer and Thanksgiving.” 

Next for the National Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving Services is Mt. Moriah Church in Middle Caicos on February 19, 2017.   Premier Sharlene Robinson is just back from a UK Overseas Territories Brexit meeting, which was held in London.
