Nassau, Bahamas, February 9, 2017 – The PLP Chairman promised that announcements would be made on Thursday about their candidates for at least five constituencies ahead of the 2017 General Elections and yesterday, Magnetic Media received statement from a favorite for the Central Grand Bahama seat for the PLP, Ginger Moxey that despite her popularity, she is not in.

Moxey, President and CEO of Immerse Bahamas and former VP of the Grand Bahama Port Authority was thought to be a certainty for the PLP nomination, but Wednesday revealed that she was called personally by Party Leader and Prime Minister, Perry Christie to inform that a contender, Julian Russell got the nod instead.   Moxey, in the release expressed gratitude to her supporters.

Among the constituency nominees to be unveiled today by the PLP are Montagu, St. Annes, South Eleuthera and Long Island
