Providenciales, TCI, February 10, 2017 – He is leaving St Helena to take up the post of Deputy Chief of Police of the Turks and Caicos islands and he brings with him 34 years of experience. Today the TCI Police Force announced our new DCP and his name is Trevor Botting. From a short list of six and after interviews, Botting was found most fitting likely due to his strong background in strategic and tactical policing.
Botting also has experience in Airport policing, Disaster Management and Search and Rescue. Add to the list of accomplishments, management of 500 officers, neighborhood policing, firearms operations and the Dog unit.
