McGurk death ruled accidental
Dr John McGurk of St Louis, Missouri had not been seen since the Monday, was reported missing on the Wednesday and his body was spotted near his resort, Blue Horizon, on the Thursday.
A tedious recovery effort was launched with Police, Disaster Management and the US Coast guard; it took over a day to retrieve 31 year old McGurk, and eventually the expertise of some islanders from North and Middle Caicos helped tremendously to get the body off that rocky ledge.
The autopsy of John McGurk revealed multiple blunt injuries, consistent with a fall reported Police.
