Freeport, Bahamas, February 1, 2017 – One man is in custody say Police after an early morning shooting in Grand Bahama, which resulted in two homicides. Police were called to Logwood Road shortly before 1am, and that is where they discovered the bodies of the young men, with gunshot wounds at the Game Time Bar. One man died on the scene said Police reports, the other at the Rand Memorial Hospital.
While these are the first killings for Grand Bahama, the country is now in double digits as February rolls in – 15 recorded homicides so far in 2017. Police in Freeport have asked the public for assistance in the case while having an alleged suspect in custody.
