Nassau, Bahamas, February 24, 2017 – Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2017, Drug Enforcement Unit officers took two adult males and an adult female into custody following the seizure of a large amount of dangerous drugs on Thursday 23rd February 2017.
Reports are that shortly after 9:00am, Drug Enforcement Unit officers were on operation in the Calvin Street off Soldier Road, when a premises, was searched and 34 pounds of marijuana was found in a number of small containers and bags. Two adult males and an adult female were arrested and taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
