Freeport, Bahamas, February 15, 2017 – Hurricane Matthew dealt arguably the harshest blow to Grand Bahama Island in The Bahamas and taxi drivers are calling on the Minister of Transport to institute some sort of reprieve.   In a recent report, head of the Taxi Union says business is very slow and still drivers are expected to pay fees, including business licenses.

The Taxi Union is calling on Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin to see that those fees are waived.
