Providenciales, TCI, February 6, 2017The Business Community is planning a peaceful but poignant protest to demonstrate their frustration at the rising level of violent crime and its effect of the quality of life here in the TCI; also its impact on commerce and tourism.  Some may gather today (Feb 6) at the Hilly Ewing building, but a more official event is set for 1pm tomorrow at the Gus Lightbourne Gym.

Magnetic Media is informed that the Chambers of Commerce is standing against the crime wave which is lashing the country.  President Kyle Smith said everyone is invited to also sign the Demand Action against Crime and Security Petition which will be available from 1pm.

This will emphasize to the Governor, who is responsible for National Security and the Government to move and quickly on any and all plans to thwart the escalation in violence.
