Arson at Magistrates Court Nassau, Foyer charred

Nassau, Bahamas, February 1, 2017 – Someone tried to burn down the Magistrates court on Nassau Street, and while the damage was severe, only the foyer was burned said ACP, Stephen Dean.   Police do not have a suspect at this time but Dean says there is a vigorous investigation on to find the party responsible. No one put out the fire, amazingly, it just burned itself out and the charred walls were discovered around 6am Monday morning.   Court proceedings were held as usual said ACP Dean and no one was hurt, nor were any court documents troubled by the fire.
