Providenciales, TCI, February 10, 2017 – Acting Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Hon. Sean R. Astwood M.P. extended congratulations to all Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force who were successful in the organization’s promotional exams taken in December 2016.

Speaking of their remarkable achievement Hon. Astwood said; “I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of Brandi Selver, David Wilson, Dominic Missick and Franklyn Thomas who were all promoted from the rank of Sergeant to Inspector after a robust and objective assessment. Special commendation is also conveyed to Ms. Selver, the only female among the group of successful candidates.

“Their individual and collective success speaks volumes of their professional development over the years and it is very gratifying to know that they have all demonstrated their commitment to effective policing in the Turks and Caicos Islands in this way.

“I also join the Commissioner of Police in highlighting the good work of Acting Sergeants Latoya Rigby, Garnett Jolly, Constable Camerro Landy, Stanlisa Landy, Stenia Simelett, Tamoy Lewis, Nathalie Malcolm, Lyndon Tyson and Christopher O’Neil who were all presented with recognition certificates.

“This is indeed a proud moment for our islands, for our officers and for their families. These men and women have chosen an extraordinary path. For this we echo our thanks and pledge to support them in every way that we possibly can.”
