Providenciales, TCI, January 10, 2016 – As this windy, cool weather persists, the Bahamas Department of Meteorology continues to advise that small craft should not venture out to sea and now, Beachgoers are being told not to go into the water – at all. Dangerous Rip Currents and very rough seas and surf conditions are the reason.
The Department is calling this strong high pressure which is generating gale force winds. Seas, says the marine weather outlook issued early this morning, will swell to as high as 14 feet. Please take these precautions seriously and stay safe.
