Three winners at Youth Explosion 2017

Providenciales, TCI, January 31, 2017 – High School seniors brought outstanding talent to a tourism centered culture show and this year the winnings are shared by three schools.  The TCI Tourists Board’s Youth Explosion 2017 was held on Friday at the Gus Lightbourne Gym and unlike last year where Wesley Methodist High swept all three categories, this year there were three winners in singing, dancing and costumes. 

Nine original songs were impressively entered in the show, opened by the Minister of Tourism Ralph Higgs and sponsored chiefly by the TCI Tourist Board and its partners including the TC Hotel and Tourism Association.   Best dance went to the acrobatic Wesley Methodist, Best Costumes were donned say judges by Marjorie Basden High of South Caicos and best song went to the Eagles of Clement Howell High.
