Providenciales, TCI, January 20, 2017 – The Planning Department will see its National Development Plan activated and its office given more power to achieve that plan says the new minister responsible. Minister Hon Goldray Ewing said work for a new access road into and out of Blue Hills will begin within six months.
Minister Ewing said intense negotiations are still underway to secure all of the land needed for the project. The team at Planning has been asked, by Minister Ewing, to submit requirements for presentation to the House of Assembly to bolster their ability to enforce planning laws.
