Providenciales, TCI, January 10, 2017 – Officers of the RTCIPF has formally charged and cautioned a 55-year-old male from Guyana with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving in relation to an accident report made on Saturday 26th November 2016.
At 10:04 pm that date, Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to a report on Hospital Road Grand Turk where a complainant stated that a man who was crossing the road was knocked down by a silver truck. The man, 50-year-old Jacques Delzins of Haiti, was later pronounced dead by a doctor. The male will appear in court today.
