Providenciales, TCI, January 27, 2017 – Minister of Education, Hon Josephine Connolly challenges senior high school students to see the limitless potential of TCI; she called it still a unique destination and congratulated Tourism partners and the TCI Tourist Board for the initiative of Youth Explosion 2017.
Wesley Methodist, Maranatha Academy, Helena J Robinson, Clement Howell High and Marjorie Basden are participating in the three categories namely: Costume, Song and Dance. Tourism Minister, Hon Ralph Higgs also touted the bright future of tourism for the TCI in his remarks.
Prizes and support have come from Kalooki’s, The Palms, Ben Stubbenberg, Rockit Hot Fitness, Lupo, Kitch Penn’s Junkanoo Museum, Talbott’s Adventures, Flow, TCHTA, DECR, the Youth Department and the TCI Tourist Board among others. The Youth Explosion features over 200 students and is open to public; it is being held at the Gus Lightbourne Gym.
