Nassau, Bahamas, January 30, 2017 – Some church leaders are already considering how they will beef up on security after a Friday night praise and worship practice turned into an armed robbery.   Members of the Church of God of Prophesy on Ernest Street in Nassau were robbed of personal items including cash and cell phones when a gun wielding robber waltzed in and reportedly even took the pulpit in the unthinkable deed.

The members, who were rehearsing for church service on Sunday, gave in peacefully to the demands; those eight Praise and Worship singers were described as shaken by the ordeal.   Police confirm the incident, saying it was shorting before 8pm and that the suspect managed to get away on foot.
