Providenciales, TCI, December 7, 2016 – There was a suicide attempt today by one of the escapees from the Grand Turk prison break of last week and the man was rushed to hospital, reportedly unconscious.
There is no report coming from the Prison, which is usually the case as the Her Majesty’s Prison never reports on the more troublesome happenings at the facility, but Magnetic Media has learned that the man used a plastic bag and was found knocked out on the floor.
It is unknown what his condition is at this time. Last week three men – Rendal Rigby, Stavon Harris and Rico Morris escaped the prison and despite repeated requests, there is no word on how the trio broke free.
This disregard for accountability is a trait now from the Management and the Minister with responsibility for the prison, where we are still yet to know what also caused a major upraising this past summer when police had to be called in to restore calm at the prison in Grand Turk.
