Skippings and Misick, former country leaders will stand guard

Providenciales, TCI, December 19, 2016 – It  has been a weekend filled with thank yous by those who offered in the historic 2016 General Elections; among those speaking to supports over the weekend were Oswald Skippings, a former Chief Minister and immediate past leader of the PDM and leader of the PDA and Michael Misick, a former Premier and once leader of the PNP.

Mr. Skippings, who got 549 votes in the At Large race, vowed not to give up, “As we pledge our continued commitment to our people and country, we will not cease to represent you and seek a better life for you and will support any government that seeks to do the same.” 

Mike Misick, who ran at large and got 1,629 votes also promises to persevere.  “We have started a movement and this movement will not stop until power is in the hands of the people.” 

Skippings got 14th most votes in the All Island race; Mike Misick was 11th.
