Providenciales, TCI, December 22, 2016 – Police Examination results reveal that we get 31 new Sergeants and six new Inspectors, after 81 members of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police sat exams to advance in the Force. Of the 56 officers taking the Sergeant’s examination, 31 passed it; of the 25 taking the Inspector’s examination, six passed it.
The test is a significant moment because it has been eight years since exam promotions have taken place in the TCI Police Force. The officers sat the exam on Monday December 12, 2016 and were quizzed in the areas of crime, traffic, evidence procedure and general policing.
The Commissioner, James Smith, commended the successful candidates.
