Providenciales, TCI, December 15, 2016 – Police presence will be at every polling station. TCI Police press liaison officer, Kevin Clarke said these officers will arrive 30 minutes in advance of the polls opening and advised the public to essentially behave. Bars, he reminded have to remain closed between voting hours of 7am and 7pm; no liquor is legally allowed to be sold during this time.
There will be police patrols too, and anyone attempting to mar the good reputation of peaceful elections in the TCI, will be dealt with by Police.
