Providenciales, TCI, December 1, 2016 – Election Bribery is a real concern for the Turks and Caicos electorate and when Magnetic Media yesterday asked PDM Party leaders their perspective on murmurings concerning this corrupt practice, there was a firm perspective and a notice to voters from Sharlene Robinson, Leader.
“The Integrity Commission is of course investigating, the police actually carries out the investigation, are we satisfied that they were able to address every report no, but that is why we’re here to flag those reports and provide evidence. I want to say to all of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands that we do know that there is a stigma that while we have the momentum that PDM are not closers and we can’t win an election because magic happens in the last day or two, but we will be keeping our eyes open and our ears open for when that magic begins to work, and we believe it has already begun. So we want to say to the voters to be careful, do now allow yourself to be placed in a criminal position.”
