Providenciales, TCI, December 28, 2016 – Former PNP Leader, former Chief Minister and PNP Opposition Leader in the House of Assembly, Hon Charles Washington Misick has issued statement on the holiday season, reminding that it is a time and opportunity of great reflection and introspection.
The all island elected member said, and I quote… “ Reflect on the events of the last twelve months and how it has shaped the lives of us all. In that regard we have much to be thankful for as our beloved Turks and Caicos continues to prosper, and be peaceful albeit new concerns about increased crime. Introspective as we look-back over our own behaviour and actions to discover consistencies and contradictions regarding our calling to ‘Love mercy and do justly’ and to walk in humility before our God.”
Hon Misick expounds by saying that , “as we face a new year, we will continue to experience triumphs and despair at the personal and national level, and that in it, we must resolve to summon the courage to face these, girded in the faith of our fathers pledging our commitment first to God and our loyalty to country above self and all others.”
