Providenciales, TCI, December 13, 2016 – New airlift is coming to the Turks and Caicos and it will connect the islands to the Capital city of the United States according to the TCI Tourist Board.   Nonstop flights on Saturdays from Washington DC to Provo begin this weekend and continue into April.

Regional Marketing Manager, stationed in the US, Pamela Ewing explained that the Washington Dulles International Airport is one of three major airports in the Baltimore-Washington area, serving some 21 million passengers annually.   A recent fam-trip to the islands was led by Mrs. Ewing who said, “In an effort to ensure maximum exposure for the destination, the Tourist Board invited United to provide us with 20 of their top producing travel agents to experience the Turks and Caicos with hopes that the selected agents would better sell the destination and our many attributes to their clients.”

The agents visited North and Middle Caicos, along with Provo.
