Nassau, Bahamas, December 7, 2016 – REBELS SUBVERT FNM democratic leadership process says Hubert Minnis, party leader who is the subject now of a stand of NO CONFIDENCE by at least seven in his own party,  the Free National Movement.  As one citizen put it, ‘they pulled a Parliamentary Coup’ on Minnis who said the group has no respect for democracy.

The seven however explain that they represent the interests of many in the Opposition FNM who say Minnis, in essence is not the man for the job and that the Bahamas Constitution allows for his role as Opposition Leader to be revoked.

They have asked the GG  to revoke Hubert Minnis as Leader of the Opposition.  The group, including Loretta Butler-Turner, MP for Long Island and Neko Grant, MP for Central Grand Bahama called it a national crisis of confidence.

See that letter delivered today to the country’s Governor General as House of Assembly was in session; it is attached.
