Providenciales, TCI, December 8, 2016 – An Integrity Commission list is to be released in a paid ad in the TCI Sun Newspaper and ONE General Election candidate finds himself there… it is raising questions about his suitability as a candidate or House of Assembly Member.
Not only were these 23 named individuals repeatedly warned, the IC Director, Eugene Otuonye says there was an extension given to facilitate the extreme tardiness of the individuals listed as ‘Persons in Public Life’. Some are two years late in presenting requisite documents.
The Candidate on the list is running on the PNP ticket and like other nominees would have had to pass through the Integrity Commission and qualified to be nominated. Only time will tell if his bid is impacted by this failure to comply with the law related to Public officials.
