Providenciales, TCI, December 26, 2016 – Detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday (Sunday 25th December 2016) at the Quality Supermarket located on Industrial Drive Providenciales that left employees running for safety.
Police responded to the scene around 7: 17 am and were informed that three masked men entered the store area and began firing shots and demanding money. The robbers were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. A security guard was overpowered during the incident. No one was injured during this incident. A crime scene was established, and an investigation has been launched.
